A Sheraton Period Wardrobe Veneered in Satinwood single chairs Circa Early 20th CenturyThe doors are veneered with satinwood ovals outlined by rosewood banding and surrounded by harewood quadrants which are further adorned with penwork oval paterae and inlaid anthemia in the corners. The cornice is inlaid with a frieze of Vitruvian sea scrolls. Handles replaced. Reputedly made for the Earl of Loudoun, Loudoun Castle, Ayrshire.
