this particular night was extremely hot and the added layer of clouds in front of the sunset made a nice reflection on the calm lake

It's an odd shaped pond with some narrow passages,the photo has trees from opposite shoreline reflecting on the pond that includes thick sections of water lilies which was our path to the main section of the pond.
