I watched as some of the evening aircraft landed

The look from this location can differ depending on the time of year as well as the weather so it is always a view I check when walking through the park

It was an evening when aircraft were taking off to the north which allowed me to get a little closer then when I did a similar image in 2008 south of the airport

With a storm having moved through the area over night as well as high tide the water was coming up to the steps down to the cove bringing man and nature merging in the scene

I headed up the hill towards the Cliff House

First Morning of 2012 in Denver Size:18"x24" I watched as some ofThe start of a new year is usually marked by sleeping in late due to the celebration from the prior night heading into the early hours of January 1st. To start off 2012, I fought the urge to sleep in and woke up in time to capture the first sunrise over Denver. As I waited for the sun to rise it was obvious people were still heading home after a long night, however like myself they were treated to the clouds lighting this first morning of 2012.
