The F8 has with 8" wide spokes along the tie beam and 6" wide spokes on the king post and struts

They feature a 1" tubular standoff support for code compliance and come with one 11/16" hole in the bottom designed to fit a 5/8" concrete anchor

The VT4 plate is useful for connecting truss bottom chords to top chords where the bottom chord hangs from the top chord (as in collar ties/tie beams)

and two custom-length 1" rods that all thread together into one strong assembly

F4 The F8 has with 8"The F4 is a 5 spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The F4 has 4" wide spokes along the tie beam and 3" wide spokes on the king post and struts. Struts radiate out at 45 angles. 3 16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1 4" is better for applications that need structural support.
