We've put it on muliple horses who've never had a port in their mouth

I simply put a port in a gag shank

I can tell a marked difference between the V port and the U port

to help slow her hands down

Bandara Pecos A bit design that cameThe Bandara has all the same weight and balance as the Futurity shank , it's just longer for leverage. Anytime we make the shank longer we lose lateral, signal, but sometimes leverage is more important than lateral. This mouthpiece has a tall port with lots of tongue relief. It has a 1 2" bar and has a long transition from the port to the bar. A little aggressive on the top side but, has been proven a winner in the Reining and Cutting horse industry
